WASHINGTON — Up to 700 National Guard members will be available to assist local law enforcement agencies at planned First Amendment protests in the nation`s capital. Annual candlelight vigil The candlelight vigil honours officers who lost their lives in 2021. The names are read by high-ranking government officials and local, state, and federal law enforcement officials, as well as other related individuals. The vigil will take place on the National Mall between 12th and 14th Streets, NW, and will be broadcast live. The ceremony starts at 8pm and lasts about 2 hours. The fugitive serial killer arrested Jose Sifuentes, currently in the custody of the Dallas, Texas Police Department, was no match for the detectives questioned and the law enforcement teams responsible for his arrest. The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, the primary organization that commemorates law enforcement heroes who die in the line of duty. Located on Block 400 of E Street, NW, Washington, DC, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial is the national memorial to law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. The teams offer a one-day event (1) consisting of three segments, including the inspection of the team, the sending of the color protection and the exhibition phase.
